Seasons, ranks & rewards
How seasons reset the board, how ranks work, and the cosmetics top performers earn.
The leaderboard is more than a list — it runs in seasons, sorts everyone into ranks, and rewards the top of the table with exclusive cosmetics.
Seasons
The leaderboard runs in seasons, each with a start and end date. When a season ends:
- Rankings reset, so everyone starts fresh.
- Top performers are recognised for that season.
- A new season begins.
This keeps the competition lively — a slow start never sinks the whole year.
Where XP comes from
XP is earned from real work, including:
- Completing issues.
- Progressing and hitting goals.
- Moving work through approvals.
- Tracked work across the platform.
- Keeping habit streaks going.
XP rewards shipping, not activity for its own sake — the leaderboard reflects work that actually moves things forward.
Ranks
As you earn XP, you climb through rank tiers, with S-rank at the top. Your rank is shown on your profile and the leaderboard.
Cosmetic rewards
Top performers unlock cosmetics that show off a strong season:
- Avatar frames — animated frames around your profile picture.
- Nameplates — decorative backgrounds for your name.
The animated frame and nameplate are S-rank exclusive — a visible mark of a top finish.

Equip your cosmetics
Apply earned frames and nameplates under Settings → Frames and Settings → Nameplates, and customise your look under Settings → Avatar.
